Application for Senior Citizen Sewer Exemption/Rebate Program
The City of Chicago offers two programs to assist senior citizens with sewer service charges:
the Exemption program and the Rebate program.
Senior citizens who are over the age of 65 and are residing in their own residence (“Senior Citizens”) will be primarily considered for the Exemption program. If Senior Citizens are not eligible for the Exemption program due to their property type, they are automatically deemed to apply for the Rebate program.
Each applicant shall only qualify for one program.
